Description

The evaporating flask capacity of this vacuum rotary evaporator is 20 liters, the power and the evaporation capacity are large. It is specially designed for large-scale evaporation, distillation and separation of mixed liquids in the laboratory. The mixed liquid is heated and evaporated in a rotating distillation flask with a vacuum. The generated steam is then recovered through a condenser. Thereby a distillation process is formed. The VE200 large capacity vacuum rotary evaporator can also be used as efficient concentration equipment in the laboratory.

The mixed liquid is placed in the evaporation flask (h), is heated by the water bath heating pot (i), and the evaporation flask (h) is rotated by the rotating unit (g). Due to the continuous rotation, the liquid forms a liquid film on the wall of the evaporation flask (h), which increases the area of evaporation and accelerates the evaporation rate. The vacuum system draws the gas from the evaporation flask (h) and forms a reduced pressure environment in the evaporation flask (h) to lower the evaporation temperature and accelerate the evaporation rate. The evaporated vapor is cooled by the condenser (a) to form a liquid which is recovered by the collection bottle (e). Thereby a distillation process is formed.
